Learn!Students are trained on current Toyota, Lexus, and Scion vehicles in a variety of areas including transmissions/ transaxles, suspension/noise vibration and harshness (NVH), brake, electrical and electronic systems, automatic climate control, electronic fuel injection (EFI), and computer control systems. Earn!The average salary for entry level technicians is approximately $25,000 - $30,000 annually. With just a few years of experience, technicians can make $50,000 - $60,000 or more per year. Employers also typically provide health and retirement benefits. With paid internships as part of the program curriculum, students will begin earning even before graduation! Achieve!Because of dealer sponsorships there is nearly a 100% job placement rate among students who have earned an Associate in Applied Science Degree in Automotive Service Technology from OSU Institute of Technology. Graduates are prepared for a career as a Toyota, Lexus, or Scion trained technician who can analytically diagnose problems and perform factory recommended service procedures to maintain high customer service satisfaction.
