Oklahoma State University Institute of Technology has the only Komatsu ACT program in the country featuring:

Komatsu students learn to diagnose, service, and maintain Komatsu products using factory recommended procedures, special tools, and service information.

Earn!

With paid internships as part of the program curriculum, students can begin earning even before graduation! Depending on the region, and the overtime available, graduates earn highly competitive salaries.

Komatsu has distributors nationally and internationally, so your career as a Komatsu technician can take you just about anywhere you can imagine - or as close to home as you want! Because of dealer sponsorships there is nearly a 100% job placement rate among students who have earned an Associate in Applied Science degree in the Komatsu ACT Program from OSU Institute of Technology.

During the two year program, students in the Komatsu ACT program will also complete the Komatsu Skill Path Courses and Certifications from Komatsu Virtual College (KVC). These courses include:

Komatsu graduates are prepared to understand new systems and components as they are introduced. they are also able to effectively communicate technically both verbally and in writing so they can advance in position as opportunities develop.

AED Accredited post-secondary colleges have met the rigorous requirements of AED’s national standards for equipment technology programs. These Standards for Construction Equipment Technology have been developed and are updated by The AED Foundation’s Technical Training Committee with broad representation from industry distributors, technical schools, and manufacturers. The standards have truly been developed “by industry, for the industry” to meet specific industry needs.
