The summer internships give you the opportunity to apply the skills and knowledge acquired from the previous semesters' classes. Your internship may be at pipeline booster stations, gas processing plants, or working on various natural gas gathering equipment with industry professionals.
You may obtain an internship through the "Job Fair" during the spring semester, which is a service provided by the Gas Compression Program at OSU Institute of Technology. Students interview with companies offering summer internships during the Job Fair. Another option for finding an internship may be through your own personal contacts.
Many companies will offer internships. The Job Fair will be a source of contact for companies with representatives present; however, it is not limited to only those present at the Job Fair.
