Cyber Posse
The Cyber Posse Honor Society is a service-oriented organization focused on the professional development of the highest-performing Information Technologies students at the Oklahoma State University (OSU) Institute of Technology. The organization engages in four (4) broad types of activities:
- Outreach: Cyber Posse members support their community through a range of service-learning activities, including technical support and presentations;
- Applied Research Projects: Members of the Cyber Posse have opportunities to work collaboratively in investigating and developing new technologies;
- Guest Speakers and Field Trips: Cyber Posse members interact with high-ranking industry professionals through special on- and off-campus activities;
- Competitions: Members of the Cyber Posse have opportunities to participate in major, information technology competitions.
The Cyber Posse is open to all students who have completed at least six (6) credit hours of Information Technologies (ITD) coursework through the OSU Institute of Technology (including courses taken through its Cooperative Alliance partner institutions), are currently enrolled in Information Technologies coursework, and have maintained an appropriate graduation/retention grade point average (GPA).
