Computer Lab/Software Update Deadlines

CIS specifies deadlines for requests to update computer labs and software in order to ensure adequate time to complete the requests since downtime in the labs is very limited. These deadlines apply to the purchase and/or installation of new computers and software or updating existing software. If software updates are needed, a complete list of the software must be submitted along with the request. A point of contact for each lab should also be designated and included with the request. All requests should be submitted via email to the CIS Help Desk at okm-helpdesk@okstate.edu. The deadline dates are as follows:

• Updates needed to be completed by the beginning of the SPRING term must be submitted by October 31 of the previous year.
• Updates needed to be completed by the beginning of the SUMMER term must be submitted by February 28.
• Updates needed to be completed by the beginning of the FALL term must be submitted by June 30.
