The State Regents’ Matrix effort began in 1996 with a plan known as a Course Equivalency Project. This plan has been implemented to improve student transfer among state colleges in Oklahoma through the development of a system-wide electronic course transfer guide. The CEP operates on a yearly cycle. Each spring, the State Regents’ web site for course equivalencies is updated to include the latest equivalency information.
