Approximately twenty organizations on campus give students the opportunity to develop leadership skills. Ranging in purpose from departmental to service and social organizations, club memberships are open to all students.

The Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Club promotes fellowship and the development of traits of good citizenship and leadership. The goal is to help all members take their place in the Air Conditioning and Refrigeration industrial community.
The Apprentice Lineman’s Club provides up-to-date information to High Voltage students about issues facing the lineman profession and related fields. The club objectives are to inspire and motivate students to become better lineman and to hold themselves to a higher level of integrity and work ethic set forth by the high voltage industry.
The Association of Civil Engineering Students (ACES) promotes opportunities to further the careers of Civil Engineering and Surveying students. The club objective is to establish a group nationally recognized by the American Society of Civil Engineers to provide resources and references for scholarship opportunities.
The AITP student chapter strives to develop an understanding of the nature and functions of data processing. Students get a better understanding of the relationship of data processing to management as well as the necessity for a professional attitude.
The Consolidated Construction Club (C3) is the Construction Management Technology Department’s student organization. C3 is comprised of student chapters for Associated General Contractors (AGC), Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC), and Construction Specifications Institute (CSI). The C3 mission is to help its student members begin their professional development. The club offers opportunities to network and socialize with industry leaders. Students will gain access to the educational, and financial assistance from three of the industry’s leading professional organizations.
The FAD club strives to promote extracurricular activities, enhance members’ knowledge and skills
for future careers, foster a deep respect for the quality of workmanship, create enthusiasm for learning, and develop leadership abilities through participation and to participate actively in promoting campus activities.
The Future Chefs Association (FCA) is part of the American Culinary Federation, Tulsa Chapter. FCA strives to uphold the honor and dignity of the culinary profession, stimulate a higher order of professional standards among members and foster educational programs. They also promote fellowship and cooperation among the culinary profession in Oklahoma.
The Horology Club works to promote fellowship among students and faculty, to be of educational value to watchmakers and clock makers, to learn the value of leadership and working together for a common goal and to be of value to the community.
The purpose of the International Society of Automation (ISA) is to advance and to reinforce the arts and sciences related to the theory, design, manufacture and use of instrumentation, computers and systems for measurement and control in the various sciences and technologies for the benefit of mankind.
The purpose of the “IT” Peer Mentors is to help first year students at OSU Institute of Technology successfully transition to their second year of college. This will be accomplished through facilitating Cowboy Connection, educational seminars for new students, and contacting students who may be experiencing challenges.
The MISA association encourages understanding and acceptance of all cultures regardless of their ethnic background. MISA was established to support awareness to respect, learn, exchange and accept cultural diversity, and create a positive and welcoming environment for students and employees from different cultures. The association also promotes cultural events and activities to increase the diversity initiative, and is inclusive of all students and employees regardless of ethnic origin.
The purpose of NASA is to promote awareness of Native Americans and promote the integrity of native cultures. The club provides a support group socially, culturally, and academically, for Native American students, faculty, and staff. The association also assists the academic success and helps to increase the graduation rate of Native American Students on the campuses of OSUIT and CMN. NASA meetings are located at the College of the Muscogee Nation’s Student Activity Center, 600 N. Mission Avenue.
Network Gaming Executives (NGE) is a group of people who enjoy playing computer games. We feel that computer games are a form of art and a way to express emotion just as books, music, and movies do. We like to setup computer networks and play multiplayer games for hours at a time. We want to help educate the non-computer literate people in our area to understand the basics of computer maintenance by having seminars that are directed by our group members.
The mission of the Orthotics and Prosthetics Club (O&P) is to promote leadership and academic excellence within the students. Secondly, the club members serve as ambassadors for the school when interacting within the community, sponsoring educational activities, supporting civic activities and connecting with industry representatives.
Phi Theta Kappa has recognized academic excellence in the two-year college since 1918 and has become the largest and the most prestigious honor society serving two-year colleges around the world. Membership is based primarily upon academic achievement. Invitation to membership may be extended by OSU Institute of Technology’s President after one has completed 12 hours and earned a GPA of 3.5 or greater. Membership in Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society will open new doors for one’s academic journey. The organization offers a myriad of opportunities such as $35 million in transfer scholarships, intellectual enrichment and personal development through programs based on Phi Theta Kappa’s four hallmarks of Scholarship, Leadership, Service and Fellowship.
Residence Halls Association (RHA) promotes a wholesome collegiate environment for people living on campus. The RHA represents the interest of on-campus residents fostering a positive living environment through recreational, educational and social activities.
The Student Ambassadors have carried out the mission assigned by OSU Institute of Technology and the Okmulgee Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. The purpose of the organization is to enhance relationships between the students at OSUIT and the City of Okmulgee, to involve the Okmulgee Chamber of Commerce with OSUIT, to assist the Chamber Ambassadors with their designated duties, and to broaden the educational experiences of the program participants.
The Student Government Association, also known as the Student Senate, is the established representative student government association which provides a voice through which all students can be heard. The purpose of the Student Senate is to represent the student body of OSU Institute of Technology – Okmulgee, to act as a liaison between students and the college administration, faculty and staff, and to provide input for changes or proposals relating to policies and/or procedures affecting students.
The purpose of the Student Nurse Association (SNA) is to allow students the opportunity to engage in campus and community activities. SNA also encourages 3rd and 4th level students to provide friendship and mentorship to 1st and 2nd level students. SNA assists the nursing program in recruitment activities, encourages students to be involved in professional nursing organizations once they have graduated, and allows for opportunities for clinical agencies to recruit our students.
