Dr. Hébert’s passion for teaching began in college as a student teacher. After a successful career in industry, his journey came full circle when he started at OSUIT five years ago.

“I am incredibly humbled to receive this recognition,” said Hébert. “Teaching has always been my passion, and being able to spend my retirement years doing what I love is a blessing. I enjoy making a positive impact on the lives of students, and I am grateful to be a part of the OSUIT community.”

After completing his doctorate in physics at the University of Texas at Dallas in 2000, Dr. Hébert embarked on a diverse career path. He served as an application physicist at the Superconducting Super Collider Laboratory in Waxahachie, TX, owned Binah Corporation, a contract printed circuit assembly shop, and operated and consulted under Hébert’s Labs.
