Endorsed by the OSUIT Faculty/Staff Council, these awards are designed to honor employees who exemplify the Cowboy Code, continually inspire their colleagues and consistently outperform their responsibilities.

The awardees were chosen based on nominations from their peers, who acknowledged their remarkable efforts and contributions as worthy of recognition.

Allen expressed a sense of affirmation regarding his recognition.

"I have always strived to be my best, and receiving this award is validation that my hard work is making a difference,” said Allen. “I will continue to challenge myself and work hard work for our students, ensuring I stay at the top of my profession.”

His efforts to engage with students haven't gone unnoticed, according to Student Life director Kamie Crawford.

"Known for his proactivity and collaborative spirit, Kyle is a highly valued member of the Student Life team and wider campus community. His hands-on approach and unique ability to connect with students through meaningful conversations significantly contribute to shaping the college experience at OSUIT,” said Crawford. “Numerous colleagues across campus can vouch for his impressive efforts and commitment.”

For nearly ten years, Smith has taught students on OSUIT's campus and helped prepare them for a successful oil and gas industry career.

"The inspiration behind my dedication at OSUIT is undeniably the students," said Smith. "Having the privilege to recruit a student, then witnessing their journey through their chosen program, and ultimately seeing them graduate and build successful careers and families – that's the real reward of our work."

Cook said it was an honor to be recognized amongst all the phenomenal and deserving nominees for her campus contributions.

"My fulfillment comes from supporting people and contributing to the OSUIT campus community, in sync with OSUIT's mission to nurture active committees," said Cook. I urge everyone on campus to get involved. What we can achieve through collective effort is amazing! Seek out committees and volunteering possibilities on our campus and contribute to OSUIT's continued success."
